The Oils From the Ashes Foundation, Inc. was born from one of life’s deepest heartbreaks—a mother’s love, a family’s faith, and a daughter’s courageous fight.
In February 2021, Mia and her husband, Pastor Jeff Diggins, received the news no parent is prepared to hear: their daughter, Diamond, had been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. Within hours, they left their home in Indiana, flew to Las Vegas, and never looked back. For the next year, they lived out of a suitcase—moving from state to state, hospital to hospital—determined to remain by Diamond’s side through every moment of her battle.
What began in Las Vegas soon led them to the Mayo Clinic in Arizona for a bone marrow transplant. When the cancer returned, doctors sent them to California for a clinical trial. Surrounded by her loving husband, her siblings, and her parents who refused to leave her side, Diamond fought with extraordinary strength. But on February 28, 2022, she transitioned from this life, leaving a beautiful legacy of faith, courage, and love.
What followed for Mia was seven months of profound grief—an emptiness so heavy that living felt more like surviving. One day, overwhelmed, she fell to her knees and prayed:
“Lord, please help me. I cannot stay in this sadness. Give me something that can help others walking through what we walked through.”
God answered.
From that moment of surrender came the vision that would eventually bring healing to Mia’s heart and hope to countless others. In 2024, after 11 months of research, testing, and learning, Mia launched Mia More Oils, an all-natural wellness brand created specifically with cancer survivors in mind. The first product—her hair growth oil—was designed to help survivors regrow their hair safely and naturally after treatment. When she told God she couldn’t build a business with just one product, He gave her more: nourishing body oils that soothe the extreme dryness chemotherapy often causes.
From day one, the mission was rooted in compassion.
Cancer survivors receive their first bottle of hair growth oil at no cost.
Those currently in treatment receive a free body oil to begin their healing.
But even that wasn’t the end of the story—it was only the beginning.
Through Mia’s grief, God brought a greater calling: a nonprofit dedicated to supporting others who are walking through trauma, loss, or life-altering challenges.
And so, in 2025, the Oils From the Ashes Foundation, Inc. was established—an offering of hope, comfort, and faith to those rising from their own ashes.
This foundation was created for people whose lives have been shaken, shattered, or forever changed. We stand in the gap with compassion, prayer, encouragement, and practical support—helping individuals rise from the ashes into renewed hope and purpose.

We provide free all-natural body oils to individuals currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation. These oils help soothe treatment-related dryness and discomfort, offering physical relief and emotional encouragement during the hardest moments.
Cancer survivors beginning life after treatment receive a free hair growth oil to help restore their hair safely and naturally. This simple gift carries a deep message: you are seen, supported, and not alone.
Many individuals facing cancer or grief feel isolated and overwhelmed. We offer spiritual support through prayer, encouragement, and compassionate connection—reminding them that God is close to the brokenhearted and still brings beauty from ashes.
As resources grow, we will deliver comfort boxes filled with oils, inspirational items, handwritten notes, and faith-centered encouragement to patients, survivors, and grieving families in need of hope.
We provide emotional and spiritual care to individuals and families coping with loss or traumatic life events. Future programming will include support gatherings, grief resources, and faith-based healing opportunities.
We partner with local organizations, churches, and community groups to reach individuals who are suffering silently. Through outreach efforts, we help educate communities on the emotional and spiritual needs of families walking through cancer and grief.
